My portrait of Otis Spann reveals the passion he so often expressed while singing the blues. The dynamics of his voice and the passionate gestures of his character left you mesmerized by his performances. Son to a baptist preacher, Spann learned his musical skills playing in churches. His fame came as a member in the Muddy Waters band until passing away in 1970. He was cousin to Muddy Waters.
